Alpha Phi Formal

Yesterday I attended my last Alpha Phi formal. I had the best date ever, Mr. Jacob Campbell. He is so great! I was given the Presidents award, was honored as a Senior & I got to spend time with all of my amazing Phi's! Here are a few pictures of the night...

I'm a slacker!

It's been a while...like over a month! So here is an update on life... Kelly and I went to Cancun, Mexico for Spring Break and it was a BLAST! I will give you a little timeline and the things we did each day through out our spring break!

  • Friday-drove to California!

  • Saturday-Camping at Glamis!

  • Sunday-Glamis!

  • Monday-hung out at Kelly's

  • Tuesday-we got up at 4AM to drive to Phoenix and flew to Cancun!

  • Wednesday-relaxed on the beach and soaked up some fabulous rays!

  • Thursday-went to Chitchen-Itza and saw the Myan ruins!

  • Friday-went to Isla Mujeres and rode around in a golf cart all day :)

  • Saturday-Kelly & I went parasailing! It was amazing

  • Sunday-flew back to Phoenix & drove to Blythe

  • Monday-back to Utah!

Overall, my Spring Break was pretty epic!

In other happenings...Sisterhood Retreat was this weekend & I had a blast! I love spending time with my Alpha Phi sisters (even though there was only like 21 of us there)! I can't believe that it was my last sisterhood retreat, but I will forever remember the memories and bonds with my sisters!

I was also nominated for Sigma Nu Sweetheart with is a HUGE honor! I was so flattered, especially because most of the men know that I am graduating. I love those guys and their organization!

The next six weeks are going to be crazy for me! Ever weekend from here on out I have something going on...

  • April 1-3: Price

  • April 9: DEP Meeting in St.George & Alpha Phi Formal

  • April 16: Sigma Nu Formal

  • April 22-24: Price

  • April 30: Supercross

  • May 6-7: GRADUATION!

I am so excited for all of this to happen & I can't wait for graduation to finally get here and to never have to go back to school!

It's All Good...

Well, I didn't get picked up by the officer's for the Navy...but i'm really okay with it. I am set to go to bootcamp on July 6, 2011. I am already pretty nervous because as far away as it is, it seems so close! I plan on moving back to Price the end of May and spend my last month at home with my family. I don't feel like I'm ready to give up my life in Cedar, but I still have 3.5 months to make some amazing memories....

On an extremely happy note, Sean is coming to visit in 11 days! I can't wait to see him!!!!

It's a short one, but good enough for now!

Loves!

You Ready for This?

Well it has been awhile since I have posted last. January has been crazy busy!!

  • The semester started on the 10th and needless to say, I'm ready for it to be over already.
  • Kelly & I took a last minute trip to Flagstaff, Arizona.
  • Polish days
  • Rush week

Rush was a lot of fun! I was a day chair for 2 of our activities and I loved being involved and picking out the decorations for the tables! It is weird to think that this is my last rush, but it was good to end it with 11 awesome girls. Tonight is the bid day party and we will get to celebrate with all of them :)

My new years goals are coming along nicely. Kelly & I have been eating healthier than before, we have attempted to work out but with rush it was kind of hard, but we are starting full force today!

Spring break has been on my mind since...well, last semester! I have been wanting to plan something epic since this is my last "spring break". Kelly & I threw lots of ideas around and we ended up deciding on San Francisco. That is until her mom called and invited us to go to CANCUN, MEXICO!!!!!! That's right people, I will be in sunny Cancun for 5 days with not a care in the world! I can't wait!!!

Well that's all for now...stay thug!

New Year...Better Me

It is officially 2011 and there is A LOT going on this year...
  1. Graduation!
  2. Navy Officer packet decision.
  3. Bootcamp/OCS
  4. A-school
I know there will be many more exciting things & I can't wait to see what 2011 brings to me.

With the new year starting there are some things that I need to change...
  1. Start eating healthy (which means no more eating out and only doing it on special occasions)
  2. Work out 4-5 times a week (I need to prepare for bootcamp!)
  3. Be as involved with Alpha Phi as possible...not missing any activities!
  4. Most importantly, just be a better me!
Can't wait to see all of the new changes & faces that 2011 holds!

Christmas & New Years

Tis the Season...so on and so forth.

Christmas has come and gone once again. This year seemed a little different all around. First of all, there was no snow in Price...something just doesn't seem right about Christmas with no snow. Christmas Eve we did our normal family dinner and then we did white elephant gifts for the first year. Those were a good ol' time! We didn't get to have our normal Christmas morning gift opening because my mom had to work from 6-2. It seemed weird to sleep in on Christmas. We ended up doing gifts around 3ish and then had our family dinner again.

In the three days following I took my sister to the airport to go to California and then took my grandma to the airport to go to Florida...must be nice!

Currently you can find me in Vernal. I will be spending the next 4 days here, which includes New Years. One year ago I spent this time with Sean also only we were in Cedar/Vegas. I have loved meeting his family & spending time with all of them and the rest of the week will be just as good. I love spending time with him!

Shout out to all of my Alpha Phi sisters...I miss you all dearly. Especially my big Chelsea and littles Marie, Saxanie, and Ariel. AOE!

Let the Games Begin...

Finals are over & now there are only 15 credits and 5 months standing between me and graduation! I say this all the time, BUT it is really weird for me! I feel like I just started and now it is already coming to an end. I haven't figured out exactly what I am going to do after I graduate and before I go to basic...but I guess I will figure it out when it gets closer.

My officer packet for the Navy was submitted this past week and will go on the January board. I probably won't know any more until February or March. It makes me nervous every time I think about it!! I hope it works out well. Today I said bye to my girl K.Cobery. We went to MEPS together and we were supposed to leave on the same day but she got rolled up, which is super good for her but I am kinda sad that I won't have her here with me :(

My Christmas shopping officially started today. I bought the first gift of the season!
